This past few days until Monday, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting at least 22 Russians at the resort. They were accompanied by 2 tour leaders from RuDive.com, the leading diving vacation provider in Russia.
It was quite exciting to have them diving with Mermaid. On Saturday, February 13 there were over 30 divers and a large bulk of them were these guests from RuDive.
Apart from water activities, they were also treated to buffet meals and a nature tour on Sunday where they visited the famed Hidden Paradise and Tamaraw Falls, had barbecue and a lot more!

The welcome at the shore
It’s been mentioned many-a-time over around tropical paradise locations - the hospitality is intense! This is exactly what you will sense from being greeted by the welcome at the shores of Sabang. It is easy to think they are being paid to give each and every visitor a warm reception, and perhaps they are, but it still feels great!
Everyone at the resort was all jacked up in anticipation of the New Year’s celebrations at the Mermaid.
We kicked it off with a Happy Hour where guests were treated to a “buy on take one free” special for all local beers.
Then, come dinner time, a whole array of mouth-watering treats ranging from Sashimi, Mussels, to Suckling Pork, Turkey, Beef, and Prawns. Dinner was capped with a dessert of Leche Flan and Fresh Fruits topped with ice cream!
Can’t wait for next year’s holiday offerings at The Mermaid!
