At the end of each day of diving, or exploring the many activities in Puerto Galera, you will always find it nice to unwind and watch the sun descend behind a hill. One of the finest places to do this is at the Floating Bar by Sabang Beach.

To get to the bar, you take a small boat which does nonstop pick-ups at the shore just a stone’s throw away from the Mermaid Dive Center. A couple of minutes and about a hundred meters later, you are greeted by cheerful staff and the merriment that comes with being in a happy beer place.

Another good thing about hanging out here is it caters to each and every one of us. Locals and visitors, kids and kids-at-heart, there’s always something to do.

Being in the middle of rich waters, you can snorkel or simply take a splash around the Floating Bar. They’ve even constructed a slide and a couple of diving boards for all to enjoy.

And it goes without saying - the beer. Oh yes, the beer. The beer and the food amid the sunset. It’s like popcorn and the latest blockbuster.
